Learning is the notebook of tea, Tiny Econometric Analysis. It is written by tea, about the questions marketing teams bring to their own data.
Two kinds of post live here. The explainers take one chart from one of the fifteen analyses and read it: what it answers, how, and what it changes on Monday. They first go out on LinkedIn, and the chart is the real output of tea on a sample file anyone can download.
The cases follow the five threads, the same paths the product offers. Each one tells a single situation, and says plainly which side it falls on:
- Where it helps: the analysis changed a decision, and by how much.
- Where it does not: the file could not answer, what would have gone wrong if forced, and what to do instead.
The second kind matters as much as the first. A method that never says "this data cannot tell you" is not a method you can trust when it says something.
The cases are composites: the sector, the sizes and the numbers are built to be typical of the files we see, not taken from one client. The data in their charts is illustrative and consistent with the text.
